Finishing my draft, ready to fill everything in...
I am about to finish my front cover. The only thing I need is a dark picture of a christmas tree where you can see the lights.
The colours I've used are red and green, as it's going to be a christmas edition. Also red fits the colours my model is wearing: the contrast between the red and the collar and glasses of my model fit wel.

My model is looking in the camera to directly address the audience. He looks inviting. I might change the model his head to be in front of the masthead, but I will change that later. Though I'm scared the masthead won't be seen enough and he he is a new icon in the music industry (see teaser: 'king of rock&roll reborn') and not important enough to stand in front of the masthead.
The teasers I've written are about Deff Leppard, which is an 80s magazine and about Queen's new Christmas song which is invented in 1984, the year the magazine is published.
The barcode on the bottom has the code 'R0771NG R0CK' which looks like 'RollingRock' (masthead).
The article I'm going to write on the double page spread is going to be about the model on the front cover named John Jama. The biggest teaser is about him, and it shows its exclusive. Also the main teaser is bigger than the masthead. I've tried to make the masthead bigger as that is the most important writing on the front page, but the writing is too long to make it any bigger, and if I can't make 'John Jama' smaller as it wont attract the audience enough.
I am almost done with my double page spreadrt. I have decided to make all the pictures in the magazine black and white to give it a more old-looking style. Some letters and writings are going to be in colour (red). Also I am going to make an extra a4 page with only writing as there doesn't fit enough writing on the double page spread. On that page I am also going to put a couple of pictures and I thought it would be better to make my DPS look interesting so people will start reading and go on on the next page without getting bored of it. I am going to make the quality as the pages (also contents page) the same as the front cover so it will look older.
Also the image on my DPS shows in bad quality but when it's exported to a JPEG it turns better. Me and my teachers don't know why this is happening. I have tried to drag it from photoshop, but when I do that the background becomes white though it is transparent in photoshop, and when I import it via 'place' in InDesign it becomes low quality.
The left page of my contents page is almost done. I only need to put in a couple of more regulars, and on the next page there are going to be more features and a lot of pictures of plates and other artists. The page number that I put on the pictures show where you can find the article about that artist with no description, only the top picture has a description in 'features'. The picture with '22' on it is John Jama, my model. He wears other clothes than the front cover, which makes him more interesting. I again photoshopped a christmastree/christmaslights behind him to give the page a christmas-like effect. The magazine is going to be around 80 pages and the regulars come as last as they are not as important as the exclusive features. The lay out I have used looks simple yet like a rock magazine, it looks also a bit like the RollingStones magazine's contents page. Again the colours that are used are black and white, and red as red is attractive and it suits to the Christmas edition of the magazine.

Ecesu you need to firstly ensure all tasks are on your blogger. Only one case study, and you cannot see the images? Press pack tasks are missing too? You have elements of audience feedback but ensure you have your magazine feedback. You have discussed the Photography sessions, but you need the desk top publishing workshops added. Planning of your photography needs to be evident alongside consistent blogging of ideas, research and development of what you are working on
